This week, I decided to change things up and do an ALL beauty faves!
GUCCI BLOOM PERFUME
If you know me well, you know that my go-to scent is floral. When I first caught a sniff of this perfume at a Sephora, I knew that this scent was going to be my signature. Prior to this one, I had the Chloe Lovestory perfume (that was my scent for about two years) and it’s still very much in my heart. I usually get the rollerball size because it’s easy to carry around for those quick touch-ups. It’s also easier to control which area you’d like to put the product on.
NYX LIQUID LINGERIE IN ‘SEDUCTION’
All of my liquid lipsticks, with the exception of four, are NYX. A majority of my lip products are from NYX, actually. I’ve been a huge fan of the lip lingerie series since it first came out. I had five shades and recently, it grew to six when I purchased ‘Seduction’. I went inside NYX one day because a friend needed to buy something and I found myself lingering around the lip section.
I playfully put on one random lip product and to my surprise, I really loved the colour. Three days later, I bought it. For my lips, it’s the perfect MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade. It’s a perfect cinnamon pink, with hints of brown and nude. It has been my everyday lip colour since I purchased it.
MISSHA MAGIC CUSHION FOUNDATION
I’ve always wanted to try a cushion foundation. It felt like one of those products you can use on-the-go or if you’re travelling. Missha, a Korean beauty brand, is one of my favourite skin and beauty places to go to. When I was in the store, I was eyeballing the cushion foundations, even tried to pat product on the back of my hand with the puff applicator and then said, “F- it! I’m buying one today!”. So I did. I also bought the refill as well. This brand’s cushion foundation is cheap compared to other Korean brands.
I used this foundation while I was in Cuba. It has SPF 50 (which is very important) and it’s a BB Cream with a full coverage, glowy and hydrated finish. It covered up my acne scars really well and my face doesn’t get cakey. The biggest con (as with all of the Korean skin-beauty products) is the shade range.
